Streets of Peril is a complete sword and sorcery TTRPG. The game focuses on player-driven stories and features an innovative advancement system which rewards characters for pursuing their ambitions. The world is gritty and dangerous. Heroes are expected to set aside their differences and unite against the enemies of humanity. 

The setting focuses on the Cimbrian Empire. Inspired by the Holy Roman Empire, this nation is a collection of powerful city-states which are only loosely confederated. Noble houses, trade guilds, mercenary companies, dark cults, and criminal societies compete for control of these cities. The players will need to choose their allies carefully while pursuing their ambitions. 

Streets of Peril utilizes the Perilous D6 (PD6) dice pool system.  Dice colors elegantly convey competency without simply adding or subtracting dice from a pool. White dice succeed on a result of 4+, red on a 3+, and black on a 2+. Abilities and equipment determine the color of a dice pool.
